The food was delicious. It hit the spot. The chicken fried rice tasted amazing, almost like it was from Guyana. I will be going back there very soon.

Well you can't please everyone at the same time so there must be some negative reviews as well as some positive ones.

Let me start by saying this restaurant looks like a scary hole in the wall but the food is actually incredible! My family and I have been ordering from here for almost 20 years. We usually get the Chicken Fried Rice and the Chicken Lo Mein as a pick up order. We've never actually ate there because it does have a Chach bar vibe but if you're into that, it might be the place for you. The service is usually very fast for a pick up order but if you order delivery, I hope you live in that area because you could be looking at an hour wait time. My only complaint would be that they don't have call waiting. You can place a call to them and get the busy tone for over 10 minutes before you get through. I'd still give them 5 stars cause the food is THAT good.

Liberty restaurant was introduced to me by my best friend. Her father requested it for dinner one night and I was confused bc I assumed it was a bar. However we went it and it was in fact a bar, men were enjoying an after work beer and or cocktail. The ladies there are very nice. If you decide to eat here I think it's best to take the food home. My recommendation is always the chicken fried rice. I've tried many West Indian restaurants all across the area even Florida and Jersey. But I will always resort to a nice fresh chicken fried rice from liberty restaurant. (I always request extra egg minced inside) E N J O Y !

Now, let’s talk about the food. Many customers rave about the chicken fried rice, a dish that has become the stuff of legend for its rich flavors reminiscent of West Indian cuisine. Maria M. described it as “delicious,” while Picky Eater highlighted the “incredible” flavors that elevate this staple dish to a must-try. Even those who may not initially be drawn to the restaurant's exterior—described as a ‘scary hole in the wall’ by Ashley K.—find themselves pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Elisha E. echoes this sentiment, encouraging diners to experience the chicken fried rice firsthand, perhaps with a request for extra egg for that added richness.

While the bustling atmosphere can sometimes lead to busy phone lines, the overwhelming consensus is that the flavors served at Liberty Restaurant are well worth any minor inconveniences. Frequent diners have been returning for nearly two decades, ensuring that the restaurant remains a beloved local fixture.
